Audio Exercise: The Oneness of Life

Hello to the world-wide Family of Light!

When you pick up a grain of sand and roll it between your fingers, you feel a direct contact between your hand and the sand. You also remain aware of your entire physical body including your eyes that perceive the sand. You realize that others, too, can perceive and physically experience the touch of a grain of sand. This is an illustration of the oneness of perception and experience.

If we close our eyes and allow the feeling of peace to flow over us, we comprehend that this peaceful feeling is not just found in one part of our body—the toes, for example, or the eyelashes. This feeling of peace envelops us; it fills up our entire consciousness. Because this peace flows out directly from the wholeness of Divine Love, it cannot be broken up into pieces. It remains a part of the sacred oneness of life.

This demonstration of sacred oneness is also found in the qualities of our soul that continually live Love as compassion, goodness, wisdom, generosity and patience. These soul qualities are experienced in all beings no matter where they might be, here on or within our earth or in other dimensions. All life is contained within the one Light that is found within the one Spirit of Divine Love, illustrating the marvellous oneness of life.

Although the grain of sand is not conscious as we are conscious, it nevertheless is a teacher to us. As we touch it what soul qualities do we express? Admiration of its beauty? Gratitude for its existence? Understanding of its origins?

Everything around and within us is an opportunity to guide us to a higher more harmonious way of being. If we wish to cultivate kindness we fill ourselves up with the thought of kindness, feel kindness, become kindness and act in kindness. In this way we become harmonious and whole. Harmony is an indicator of oneness.

There is an underlying divine principle that cancels duality. This principle creates in perfect harmony the outer world from its interior world of oneness and yet this divine, fundamental principle remains untouched by duality. It remains in oneness.

We are moving from divisiveness to this harmonious oneness of life because all physical creation no matter how light or how dense continually moves upwards to a higher expression of itself.

There are many expressions of individuality but the foundation of life is the same for all. Everyone upon our good earth begins life with one cell which is created from the one Light—the outer movement of inner God. Being in divine oneness is being home.

Let’s play.

Sit still, close your eyes and lift them up gently to the spiritual eye in the space between your eyebrows. Breathe in peace and breathe out peace. Breathe in Love and breathe out Love. Now, imagine that you are somewhere in nature where everything is beautiful and quiet. Feel this atmosphere of quiet and beauty around you and within you. Become aware of a marvellous oneness between yourself and this lovely place in nature. Now, expand your feeling of oneness to include the stars and the galaxies and the entire universe. Everything is now bathed in beauty, quiet, vastness and oneness. Feel that you are one with all life everywhere. Feel this oneness in your body, heart and mind. Feel and know that you are a part of this one great sacred vibration in the universe.
