Connecting to the God-Self

Question

Even if one has a difficult time connecting with and feeling the God Self within, and has difficulty being aware of what is happening energetically, will this person still benefit spiritually during these times? I sometimes feel that I will be left behind due to seeing the ones around me being so aware and in tune with the Creator.

Answer

All people can benefit spiritually IF they have an inner desire to better themselves.

The spiritual growth of an individual is directly related to her or his awareness. Within all peoples upon our planet and within all life everywhere there is a “program” or “coding” which incites individuals to return to the Source—the Divine Creator—whether they realize it or not. The cultivation of awareness is the beginning of awakening.

For example, let us say that you are in a coma. Being in such a state you are unaware of your five senses, the foremost being that of touch (sensing, awareness, consciousness). Being unconscious indicates that you make very little use (if any) of the four other physical senses. If you slip out of coma and move back into the conscious world, you become very aware of all of your senses, their relationship and the assistance they provide to you within your surrounding environment.

This can be likened to our present world situation. The tremendous flow of spiritual power and grace which has begun to imbue each one of us is initiating individuals to a higher and more divine way of living. Yet many remain completely unaware of this. Others somewhat sense the changes but instead of exploring their attitude towards them, choose to live in a reactive state of self-righteousness and self-defense. This limits the opening of mind and heart and stunts the possibility for awakening. But we must also remember that there are individuals upon this good earth who are not aware of “what’s going on” and yet benefit spiritually.

How can this be?

This is so because instinctively they are loving and helpful people living by the Golden Rule (treat others as you yourself wish to be treated).
Here then another question comes to mind: how can these individuals who lead lives of goodness and loving discernment become more spiritually attuned?

We are invited here to ponder the two major aspects of our lives: how we feel towards ourselves and how we feel towards the world as a whole. If we regularly take the time in the silence to foster self-love and the appreciation of self, we soon come to realize that we are the very physical manifestation of Divine Spirit. Once we acknowledge, accept and integrate this truth, we feel, connect with, and stay within the God-Self. With our minds and hearts nestled in this sacred space we have access to all information and counsel that is of benefit to ourselves and to our world. In this way we realize that from our inner awakening our outer world has become our playground for exemplary action.

All of us who are honest and loving in heart and mind will never “be left behind.” In fact we will be in the foreground as showers of ways making very sure that no one is ever left behind.
