JOHANNESBURG - SOUTH AFRICA 28.12.2008: Zimbabwe's national security minister has told the country's last remaining white farmers that they will be jailed if they refuse to abide by a deadline that passed over the weekend for them to leave their farms, according to a newspaper report on Monday. The official Chronicle newspaper quoted the minister Didymus Mutasa as saying police would be "unleashed" to deal with white farmers who ignored the eviction notice.

"Those farmers who do not comply with the orders to vacate the land will be dealt with severely," said the minister, known to be close to President Robert Mugabe. The deadline was on Saturday. Farming officials said there were no immediate reports of arrests but they feared the worst. Zimbabwe is suffering its worst economic crisis since independence, with acute shortages of hard currency, food, gasoline, medicines and essential imports. The meltdown is blamed largely on disruptions to the agriculture-based economy after the often violent seizures of thousands of white-owned commercial farms began in 2000. Annual inflation is running at more than 1,000 percent, the highest in the world.

The U.S. State Department last year put Zimbabwe on a list of six countries where restrictions on rights were particularly severe, along with China, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar and North Korea. There were around 4,500 white commercial farmers in Zimbabwe in 2000, when Mugabe launched the program of land seizures that has seen agricultural production plummet. Now only around 400 white farmers remain and at least 150 of them were handed eviction letters in December giving them just 45 days to leave their land to make way for new black farmers. Mugabe says land reform was necessary to correct colonial-era imbalances in ownership. The longtime Zimbabwean leader blames the more-than-40-percent drop in production on repeated drought and Western sanctions.

Once known as the breadbasket (Rhodesia) of Southern Africa, Zimbabwe has seen its status reduced to an importer of its staple maize crop since land reforms were launched. Critics say many of the new black farmers were allocated farms on the basis of political patronage rather than agricultural expertise, and lack the dedication and financial resources to make a success of farming. The chairman of farming lobby group Justice for Agriculture, John Worsley-Worswick, said that white farmers were feeling "very exposed and very vulnerable." Farming groups like the Commercial Farmers Union and Justice for Agriculture had told their members to stay on their land and risk arrest.

"There's ongoing pressure," Worsley-Worswick said by telephone from Harare. "We are expecting arrests as farmers go back today." Mutasa said security officials would check this week on white farmers. "It's the duty of police to see to it that those who don't abide by the laws are incarcerated," the minister was quoted as saying by the Bulawayo based newspaper. Farmers were given a glimmer of hope last month when Ngoni Masoka, a senior official from the Lands Ministry, said they would be allowed to stay on to harvest crops they had planted "without any disruption in that process." UN agencies estimate that about 4 million people are in need of food aid in Zimbabwe. Last year, some 700,000 people lost their homes or livelihoods in a government demolition campaign aimed at street vendors, market stall holders and allegedly illegal housing.

BINDURA, Zimbabwe (AFP) - President Robert Mugabe declared Friday that "Zimbabwe is mine" and vowed never to surrender to calls to step down, as his political rival threatened to quit stalled unity government talks.

Addressing his ZANU-PF party's annual conference amid a ruinous political crisis and a deadly cholera epidemic , Mugabe returned to the kind of defiance he has often shown in the face of mounting criticism.

"I will never, never, never, never surrender. Zimbabwe is mine, I am a Zimbabwean. Zimbabwe for Zimbabweans. Zimbabwe never for the British, Britain for the British," Mugabe told his party's annual conference.

The veteran leader in the former British colony said he would remain until "his people decide to change him."

While the comments struck a familiar tone for the 84-year-old leader when he said earlier this year that only God could remove him from office, he now faces increasingly grim circumstances in his crippled country. The UN says more than 1,100 people have died in the cholera epidemic, adding to woes such as food shortages and poverty as Zimbabwe struggles with a collapsed economy and eye-popping inflation rates. Mugabe denounced Western governments who have been stepping up their criticism of his regime since the cholera outbreak.

He said Zimbabwe was facing a war with Britain, supported by the United States and Europe.

"I won't be intimidated. Even if I am threatened with beheading, I believe this and nothing will ever move me from it: Zimbabwe belongs to us, not the British."

His speech came after opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai threatened to quit deadlocked unity government talks over the abductions of more than 42 members of his MDC party and civil society. Zimbabwe's opposition leader, who should become prime minister when a unity accord is finally implemented, warned of a long list of outstanding issues with the veteran president before the new government could be set up.

"I don't foresee a situation where the coalition government will be formed until the issues are resolved," the Movement for Democratic Change leader told AFP in the Botswanan capital, Gaborone.

While a draft constitutional amendment was officially gazetted in Zimbabwe last week, creating the prime minister post, Tsvangirai said it was one of several areas needing attention.

"The 19th amendment will be adopted within 30 days: they will adopt it but this is not the end of the story," he said, pointing to the amendment which was adopted mid-December.

"The 19th amendment, the national security council, the allocations of portfolios, those are the issues that need to be resolved and completed before a government can be formed."

The MDC, unions and several human rights groups have warned of increased abductions, with Zimbabwe plunging into further ruin as its leaders fail to resolve the political crisis. Mugabe also commented on the deadlocked talks in his speech.

"I don't know whether this inclusive government is going to work or not," he said.

And yes, there are alternative answers open to everyone. Yet, can only be solved if truly seeking and wanting from the heart and by opening a conscious to all suffering! Has out and out capitalism, yet as a clever, derisive tool, become a God to follow, even fastening souls to distraction? A clever device to further divide and rule, poison minds through competition, rather than complementing one another with multiple God given talents. General atmospheres are being defined, to drive forward individual, me attitudes, alone. Now, if one is not at least a millionaire or better still a billionaire, well the others can simply survive, but at their own cost, naturally. Things are not right or balanced within our world for sure, even appears a society split down the middle of either them and us. Most can't quite put a finger on what's wrong or missing.. exactly! Well just cast around, as is clearly being sign posted daily. Even distinctly feels as if reaching a crossroads in life, with many confused by certain earthly events. Fear, deception, hypocrisy, double standards and dealings, delivers additional daily insecurities to grip souls. Transforms souls further through entrenched fears as to daily operatives and individual survival. This way, we effectively hand over a very being for other powers to direct. Indeed, even some peaceful motivated brothers and sisters, yet also with blood flowing through veins, are isolated as virtual strangers in the midst. A number believe and with justification, unfolding scenarios might well represent predictions of times where decisions need to be made.. one way or other.

Well, there's still time to decide which direction or pathway to take or choose. Even a time to better understand total motivations behind those termed starseed and indigo children, for instance! Even if they too, might effectively and typically in time be portrayed, stereotyped or pigeon holed within certain, negative categories. Those who in effect, represent more enlightened, open minds, voices of moderation and reason, to clearly represent flexibility to all possibilities existing. These entities as lost souls, originate from within more limited fourth and third dimensional vibrations to land, even reside having traversed universal magnetic vortices. Those designed as specific entities arrive, yet also retain ability to shape shift to secure, even fasten, far more negative motivated, driven and aligned planetary scenarios. The darker aspects entrenched to further underpin, undermine and therefore also advance disunity mentalities across wider landscapes. As now, we have to seriously consider what all the doubters are going to do when at the twinkling of an eye, a whole world appears changed over night? When suddenly, that termed as purely originating in the imagination as with UFO's, might well still receive official sanction! Will they then wait till the eleventh hour, and only then hope to receive some explanation, even guidance? Even call for assistance, give far greater credence to those amongst them (who might well have been placed all the while) to help explain changing climes on Earth! As universal, peace seeking starseeds (specific pre-birth contracts) try assisting in taking the next step forward or help in promoting collective, conscious awakening. Humans, have a divine right to know and learn which way as defined choices!

While Celestial Intelligent Creation (CIC), combine to fuse defined, original, calibrated, creative universal light-designs! All teachings as refined beliefs, should then be designed to deliver real lasting peace as genuine intended outcomes. They should therefore be respected, tolerated, and even finally accommodated. While basic human freedoms, should also be taught and reminded of daily, to then advance and permit tolerance and humility if to secure due respect. And no, not only as and when suiting, to include being compartmentalized as if nonexistent entities or beyond belief as that perceived, even taught as not real, living entities who contain deep-inner feeling and commitment towards all humanity. As in all reality, they're very real and yes, deeply care for the well being of all creation. Nor should those seeking peaceful resolutions, then be denounced and promoted as not existing or there.

Indeed, to be viewed through manufactured, narrow lenses delivering forms of ignorance. For free will beliefs, should openly promote and register intents to function as basic freedoms of expressions. Now, clear cut, alternative answers.. demonstrate we are far more divided as a civilisation than ever before. Many might appear as if singing from the same hymn sheet, to extol similar words as meanings. Even as delivering free, combined wills down roads paved and advertised as freedoms. Indeed, appears to all and sundry as if dancing to the same tune or partisan in securing common goals.. no matter intended outcomes. In truth, we might well be driven down roads through false messages and promises, which contradict and divide even further. Even to appear as if daily life is under control or in order.
